Pinot Nero, Franz Haas, Alto Adige, Italy 2013
A complex wine with layers of dark cherry, raspberries, plum jam, cloves and sweet cinnamon spice on the nose. The palate is fresh and lively, with supple tannins and acidity elegantly balanced with the rounded fruit.
Grapes for the Pinot Nero are grown on the slopes of Pinzano and Gleno in the Montagna area and in Mazzon in the municipality of Egna.
