Tavel Rosé, Prieure de Montezargues, Rhone Valley, France 2014
Tavel is an exclusively rosé producing appellation in the southern Rhone Valley and this classy example from talented winemaker, Guillaume Dugas, has bags of flavour.
A blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Mourvedre and Carignan, it makes a worthy substitute for a light red wine and you will see us opening it with cured meats and grilled fish.
