The Scamperle family has cultivated vineyards for generations. Le Salette currently consists of 49 acres in the best areas for Valpolicella Classico. This wine, Il Progni, is named after a nearby town.
Deep ruby red in colour, with an aromatic bouquet of ripe forest berries, leather and tobacco. An intense rounded flavour with a balanced richness and notes of cinnamon, dark chocolate, dried cherries and tobacco resin. Perfect with hearty pastas and red meats
