Valpolicella, Montresor, Veneto, Italy 2013
Fermented with the leftover skins from Amarone production, the wine is then aged in oak for 16 months, producing a fresh, medium bodied red with lively aromas of cherries, violets and almonds and a hint of the gently herbal character typical of Valpolicella.
A fresh and youthful palate showing a subtle touch of pepper and spice, with intense flavors of cherry, spice and wood. Versatile, enjoy this with both red and white meats.
